Industrial tinting systems

A tinting system is a set of calibrated colorants or pigment pastes that makes it possible to reproduce any colour accurately and repeatably from a neutral or white base. It is used in paint factories, point-of-sale outlets and industrial processes (Plant Tinting) to offer a wide colour range without having to manufacture and stock each shade separately. It guarantees batch-to-batch reproducibility and flexible customisation. For this purpose, we recommend the Luengonyl, Univertint, Dosytint and Industrial ranges.

Luengo Color offers four ranges designed for tinting systems: Dosytint (water-based, point of sale), Luengonyl (high-concentration water-based pigment dispersions), Industrial (solvent-based with low VOC content) and Univertint (universal pigment preparations). All products within each range are compatible with one another, covering the full colour space and adapting to the customer's dispensing equipment.

As a manufacturer, Luengo Color offers a complete tinting system implementation service, including: guaranteed compatibility with the customer's bases, design and optimisation of the pigment selection, colour formulation and colour database development, and technical and commercial support for integration with dispensing equipment. The system can be opened up to include effect pigments or specialised ranges depending on the sector.

A point-of-sale (PoS) tinting system is designed for mixing directly in store in front of the end customer: it requires decorative colours, high reproducibility and compatibility with compact equipment, and is suited to small quantities. An industrial tinting system (Plant Tinting) operates in the factory with larger volumes, greater colorimetric precision and compatibility with complex technical formulations. Luengo Color has specific ranges for each environment.
